Hobby Cutz Challenge #16 - Autumnal

It's time for another challenge over at Hobby Cutz and this week our fabulous sponsor is

Our theme this week is Autumnal and I got to play with Fall Pumpkin 

I have made a candy Trick or Treat box as well as a card for this challenge.

I have cut the box and card using a cutting file that I bought for my Silhouette cameo and have decorated them with various die cuts, the image I have coloured using copics and the wonderful flourishes on the card are laser cuts from Hobby Cutz. 

There is a great selection of laser cuts in the store and they give any project that wonderful finishing touch. They are great value for money and are fantastic quality so pop over and take a look, you never know what might take your fancy.

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share this little project with you.

On my Facebook page I offered the first person to respond a free handcrafted item of their choice.

A lovely lady replied withing seconds lol and asked if I could make her a picture with the wording 'HOME SWEET HOME' and that she would like the picture in reds and purples.

Happy 3rd Birthday to MIM!!!

It's time for our weekly challenge over at MIM and to say that I am excited about this challenge is an understatement!! 

I started this project as soon as I knew Krista Smith was going to be our sponsor and then waited very patiently for my image to arrive to finish the project off!! 

So I am very proud to announce that our sponsor is Saturated Canary

I already own most of Krista's wonderful images and Ribbons Fairy was one of the few I didn't already have! I love this image and have truly enjoyed working with her for this project.

Here is my project using Ribbons Fairy

I have made an altered picture frame.

The image has been coloured using copics and I have aged the frame using Frantage added some flowers from WOC and and some pretty butterflies.

Hobbycutz Challenge #14 - Recycle

Today I have for you my first project for my new DT Hobbycutz I am very proud to be part of this new team and am looking forward to my new challenges over the next 6 months.

Our challenge set this week is RECYCLE and I have recycled this old picture frame with this wonderful image from our fantastic sponsors

This is my project using Autumn Fairy

Here is the old picture frame I recycled.......

And here is the finished project...........

I have coloured the image using copics and the flowers are from WOC, I have also used real pressed and dried leaves .

 I have masked the image onto the backing paper before colouring the image. 

I have used Frantage on the frame to give this amazing effect and the wonderful butterflies are laser cuts from Hobbycutz I love the way they add that finished touch to this project.

Someone Special

MIM Challenge #154 - Anything Goes

The weeks are flying by and it's another Challenge over at MIM and our wonderful sponsor this week is:

It has to be said I completely adore Bugaboo Stamps and knew instantly which digi I wanted to play with! If you've never bought a Bugaboo digi you are missing out on a real treat, they are awesome!

Here is my project using Ava Fairy Special

 Now I wanted to make something a little bit different so to start with I FOILED the digi image and loved the way it turned out. 

I have then coloured the image using Copics.

I have made a flower cupcake, a play on the 'fairy special' sentiment (fairy cake) and have made a little box for the cupcake to sit in and have added a little window so you can see the goodies inside.

The Fairy sentiment pulls out of the cupcake and I have left the tag blank so a personal message can be written.

I have decorated both sides of the gift bag and have added a larger version of the sentiment stamp onto the back of the gift box, once again I foiled this image first and then coloured it with Copics. 

I have added a hidden tag behind the large sentiment image on the back of the bag.
