Christmas Candle

MIM Challenge #160 - Anything Goes

I can't believe another week has gone by, before we know it Christmas will be upon us!! So this post is dedicated to that most wonderful time of year.

So over at MIM our sponsor this week is...

I had the honor of playing with Christmas Candle and this is the card I designed using this very pretty digi.




I have designed a circle shaped card using Spellbinders grand dies, the Poinsettia are also spellbinder dies.
I have de-bossed the  the backing paper and the image I have decoupaged to give it extra depth.
I have added glitter and hi-lights to add that bit of extra depth.

Sweet Little Gift Bag

Challenges 4 Everybody #30 - Anything Goes

It's time for a new challenge over at Challenges 4 Everybody we had some awesome entries for our last challenge and would love all old and new crafters to join us this week.

As usual our challenge is Anything Goes and our sponsor this week is..



Sherri is generously offering our winner the 5 digis that the DT used as the prize for this weeks challenge.

I had the pleasure of using IMG958 and I decided to make a cute little gift bag.




I coloured the image using copics, and the gift bag was cut using a SVG file on my Silhouette Cameo .
The little fence is a sizzzix die cut and the snowflakes are Spellbinders.
I have finished off using a Christmas ribbon with a little jingle bell and liquid pearls.

Hobbycutz Challenge #18 - Pearls and Lace

It's time for another challenge from Team 1 at Hobbycutz and this weeks challenge is..
Pearl and Lace

These digis are so beautiful  and I got to play with Katniss Girl of Fire Sassy, this digi is so beautiful and I so enjoyed putting copics to paper for this one.

Here is the card I made using this stunning digi






I just had to play with the colours suggested in her name 'Girl of Fire' and coloured her dress using copic colours that set her dress on fire!!

The wonderful flower trellis can be bought at Hobbycutz where you can purchase a whole range of wonderful laser cuts to embellish your projects with.
I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the base of this card and the flowers are from WOC.

Bewitching

MIM Challenge #159 - Anything Goes

It's MIM time again and as always our Challenges are Anything Goes

There are some amazing and unusual digis in Rick's store especially if like me you like to dabble in the darker side of stamping and enjoy using unusual images.

Rick is generously offering our winner 2 digis of their choice from his Etsy store.

I chose to play with Bewitching and this is the card I came up with




I have coloured the image using Copics and have distressed the edges of the papers using Tim Holtz Distress inks. 
The die cuts are Tim Holtz and spellbinders. I have also used some black netting on the front of the papers.

I hope you like the dark grungy feel to this card, I feel it fits the image well.

Advent Calendar

MIM Challenge #158 - Anything Goes

Wow these weeks are sure flying by, the weather has taken a turn for the worst..... that's not a problem for us crafters it just means we get more time to craft because it's to miserable out in the great outdoors!

So on with this week's challenge and our wonderful sponsor for this week is:

Thinking Of You

Challenges 4 Everybody #29 - Anything Goes

Today it's time for my first project with my new DT over at Challenges 4 Everybody, I would just like to thank Amelia for giving me the opportunity to join this wonderful challenge blog.

These have got to be some of the quirkiest little digis I Have ever seen and I never tire of playing with them.
Bugaboo is offering our lucky winner a choice of 7 single digis!!

I have had the honor of creating with Big Bow Sitter and this is the card I created using this wonderful image.






I have made an 8x8 card and have cut a flower circle window out of the main card. I have then cut around my image and coloured her using copics. I have then placed her at the front of the window so she looks like she is sat on the ledge.
The wonderful flowers are from WOC and the fancy edge has been created using a Martha Stewart punch.

Trick Or Treat

Hobby Cutz Challenge #16 - Autumnal

It's time for another challenge over at Hobby Cutz and this week our fabulous sponsor is



You can find some fantastic digis as well as many other items in this store, so it's well worth a pop over to see what they are all about.

Our theme this week is Autumnal and I got to play with Fall Pumpkin 
I have made a candy Trick or Treat box as well as a card for this challenge.






I have cut the box and card using a cutting file that I bought for my Silhouette cameo and have decorated them with various die cuts, the image I have coloured using copics and the wonderful flourishes on the card are laser cuts from Hobby Cutz
There is a great selection of laser cuts in the store and they give any project that wonderful finishing touch. They are great value for money and are fantastic quality so pop over and take a look, you never know what might take your fancy.

Home Sweet Home

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share this little project with you.

On my Facebook page I offered the first person to respond a free handcrafted item of their choice.

A lovely lady replied withing seconds lol and asked if I could make her a picture with the wording 'HOME SWEET HOME' and that she would like the picture in reds and purples.

This is the project she won..........
